Two days weaving an oval willow basket using the ‘english’ method of making a base.A step on from round baskets and using a different method than the usual for the base. This ‘English’method requires you to stand on your work! Unusually, the basket will be finished with either rope or rush handles.You may benefit from previous experience with either rush or willow.
